西海岸のスピリチュアル・ジャズレーベルBlack Jazzで奥方ジーン・カーンと共に作品を残すダグ・カーンが71年にリリースした1st.アルバムのオリジナル盤。
レーベルオーナーでもあるジーン・ラッセルがプロデュースを担当。ジーンのスキャットから始まるダンスジャズ傑作A2「Little B"s Poem」、McCoy Tyner作のB1「Passion Dance」、Jon Coltraneの名曲「A Love Supreme」を取り上げたジャズヴォーカルチューンB2「Acknowlegement」など。

全編再生確認済みです。
A面に線傷が幾つかありますが、クリックノイズに繋がる様な深いものはありません。
全体的にノイズ目立たず、ストレス無く楽しめます。
但しA面ラストに大きめのニキビと小さいニキビが２つづつあり、それぞれ8回と2回のプツ音が出ます。
B面に2曲目終盤、小さなニキビにより3回、控えめなプツ音、3曲目の冒頭、これまたニキビにより15回のプツ音が出ます。

テクスチャードジャケット左下にパンチホール。
裏右下に一部インクで色補修。
